Tasmania’s Infrastructure Strategy

Infrastructure Tasmania has a strategic vision for the delivery of infrastructure throughout our state by all providers, of ‘infrastructure that enables a prosperous and sustainable Tasmania, where communities, industries and the economy flourish.’

A draft infrastructure strategy was released for consultation in 2019. Given the significant and ongoing economic and societal changes since then,  Infrastructure Tasmania is updating the strategy.

Our intention is to guide a collaborative approach to infrastructure planning across the Tasmanian Government, local government and private investors, using contemporary approaches for prioritising, designing and delivering infrastructure.
