Passenger and freight access

TT Line has scheduled  day sailings almost every second day from December 2024 until April 2025 to meet demand across the peak summer period.

While it is important to ensure there is enough room on the vessels to welcome tourists to Tasmania, it is also important to ensure producers can get their products to market quickly.

The Tasmanian Government has established an industry working group comprising representatives from the tourism, agriculture, and business sectors to work with TT Line to look at challenges and opportunities with day sailing scheduling.

This will include analysing current and new day sailing schedules to work through freight needs, tourism outcomes and primary producer priorities.

TT Line is continuing to monitor booking numbers to understand what future support may be necessary.
